Your support makes a lasting difference in the lives of children living in Northeast Houston.
Serenity Performing Arts Academy is a community-based performing arts organization whose mission is to increase access and exposure to the performing arts for children living in Northeast Houston. We have been serving the Northeast community since May 2005. We currently serve 150 – 200 kids throughout the year by offering quality performing arts programming throughout the year.
Program Activities:
Performing Arts Summer Camp - A four-week summer enrichment camp offered in the month of July that is geared towards preventing summer learning loss in both academics and the performing arts.
Monthly Performance Opportunity - Once a month, SPAA provides an opportunity for children to either perform or attend a performing arts event in the city of Houston. The cost is free for children, and transportation is provided.
Afterschool Enrichment Program - A six-week introduction to music, dance,and theater for children who reside in Northeast Houston. This afterschool program is designed to inspire and cultivate ongoing interest in performing arts for children living in the Greenspoint area of Northeast Houston.
